Less = more (mor or less ;-))
Why am I rushing through life every now and then? Why do I have a never ending to do list? Why am I doing certain things and seeing (some) people? Is it because I am used to it or because I don’t seem to know better?
CLEANSING
After my (business) trip to South Africa this year, I realised that I have cleansed a lot of ‘debris’ so far AND that it is time for a new cleansing session or maybe period. Why? Because there is too much clutter in my life. I feel it is REALLY time for some extra slow-jo (= mojo on ganja or high on life ;-)) … so I can get back to my holiday (slow-flow). And enjoy the $%&*( out of life!
DEEPER LAYERS
What am I doing to get there? I am getting rid of:
– all the material stuff that I don’t really want and/ or need;
– I am cleansing love/ intimite/business/ fam relationships & friendships; AND
– most importantly I am letting go of mind-clutter (nurturing my renewed mindset and matching my life with it).
How and what is this renewed mindset? Hmmm, that is just too much to capture in one word or a couple of scentences… What I CAN share with you are two new things that I am using as my life compass (apart from my dreams and talents) (thanks to Quirijn Bakker, one of the LightWorks inspiration team members):
1) What are your top 3 life goals?
2) What are your top 10 coolest and most fun things that you love to do?
(Number 3 is about your dreams and talents, but I’m leaving that out for now.)
MY PERSONAL HEART COMPASS
If you’ld like to know my answers, please read the following paragraph. If not, just skip it and move on to the next ;-).
1) Top 3 life goals: Being healthy (spiritual, emotional, physical and mental); feeling connected to the people around me (from total strangers to a life partner); unleashing my potential by following my bliss and through co-creation; adventure and being surprised (ok, I cheated, those are four goals…)
2) Traveling, music (listening, dancing, singing), eating delicious food and drinking tea, watching movies, relax-actions (yoga, meditation, spa, massages), co-(ok) creations, hulahooping, being physically intimate (cuddle, kiss and have sex), nature (beach, woods, hills, ocian), walks/diving & chilling out (in the sun).
MAKE IT WORK
I am changing my daily habits and calendar to match with my answers to those questions… and I do a lot more which I can’t put into words yet because it is still brewing ;-).
