We are artists
What we do makes people insanely happy and sometimes it makes them cry. We can rock your world and/ or guide you through hell and back. We have been trained and are always well prepared. Half of the time we ourselves are rocking it on the stage. We’ll put on a show where our little Byoncé comes out to play. We will even have the same effect, or more… We also touch peoples hearts by opening ours, we are truly engaged. And most important of all: we invite you to be the best you can be and we lead by example.
We create, practice and demonstrate art. Most of us discovered our skills when we where younger. Without knowing exactly what we wanted to do or be, we have been practicing our craft intensely and sometimes we did it because of ruthless interventions of life itself. We are LightWorkers, artist, who love what we do and do what we love.
We are LightWorkers: a group of people who ignite ourselves & others to utilize their full potential. We are facilitators and inspirators who have discovered the art of true living: We follow the path of our heart. We express ourselves fully. We spread our light by sharing it with the world. And we guide & inspire others to do the same… What sparks your (business) life and how does it positively influence others?
Since I had a burnout in 2007 I’ve been an creative volcano. I unveiled all the beautiful treasures that where stashed within me but that I had stopped looking at or paying attention to came out of the bag. I did things I had never done before: I wrote a book (also released it in the Caribbean); dated men because I just felt like it instead of having high expectations for the future; started a project called Sparks of Lights that led to 50 episodes, a documentary (including a screening in South Africa), an annual Festival and Sparks of Lights experiences at companies and conferences; started my own company; we are working on our second book and documentary as we speak; started a trip around the world. I feel as if I’ve jumped of a cliff and I’m floating through the air, before I’ll hit the water and I’m not alone. Around me it seems like an adult water paradise in the middle of some tropical lactation with light blue water and a lot of sunshine. Getting to this spot was really rough and scary. Sometimes I needed to throw up or I even wanted to give up. But don’t they say that hardships make the best artists?! What’s your craft? Your true expertise?
“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate
Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure
It’s our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.
We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented and fabulous?
Actually who are we not to be?
You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn’t serve the world.
There’s nothing enlightening about shrinking
So that other people won’t feel insecure around you.
We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us.
It’s not just in some of us, it’s in everyone.
And as we let our light shine, we unconsciously
Give other people the permission to do the same.”
