Minding me and my business
After years of freelancing besides my job I’ve started my own company at the end of 2011, just to be able to publish my own book (Cleansing, Dreaming & Dirty Fun – it’s in Dutch and available in all bookstores & it is being translated into English). My (work)life was one big playground and I was lovin it .
Facts & Figures
“More than ½ of U.S. adults dream about owning a business, but less than one in one hundred (less than 1%) will ever get into business.” Why? Because to reach the goal of self-employment a business entrepreneur must face and conquer major issues and challenges. Starting & growing a business costs you time, money, and emotion. Would you like to be able to confidently say: “I have a clear vision of my business and of myself as an emerging entrepreneur.”
Low Effort, High Impact
I wanted to grow as an entrepreneur but I didn’t have a clear vision of where I was on the road of entrepreneurship, what my possibilities where and what I could do to be more successful as a business owner. So I started studying other entrepreneurs more closely. Entrepreneurs that are financially free to those who are just managing to get by or have a study or a full time job and have their own business on the side. I studied my customers, business partners closely and I even watched programs on the internet like: ‘Behind the brand’.
4 levels of business
After all that conscious studying I came up with a simple business tool that can contribute to start or grow yourself AND your business more effectively. I’ve called it the four levels of business:
Level 1: SUMMER OF PLAY
Level 2: SERIOUS PLAY
In the you tube film I use different names for level three en four, but these ones are final.
Level 3: SERIOUS
Level 4: BUSINESS WISE
These days
… I still love to play. The big difference I’ve uncovered my Dream-goal and I am putting all my resources into realizing it. I want to create a world where everybody is ignited & radiates because we are unleashing our potential and truly live & enjoy life”
At the moment I am at level two: SERIOUS PLAY, working my way up to level three. So what else am I doing different than before, when I was at level one: SUMMER OF PLAY? I am more focust, making conscious decisions to be more effective and I now work with a team of facilitators and inspirators that have matching talents.
The next level of business…
I am working towards level 3: SERIOUS BUSINESS.
